Simplified binding with semi-hidden corners.  Black Fabriano Ingres endsheets, rolled leather endbands in black goatskin, terra cotta goatskin at spine and corners.  Handmade paste paper cover, with inset terra cotta goatskin label, stamped with 24k gold foil.  Bound October, 2008.

This paste paper was created especially for this binding, and is meant to evoke the texture of fur, reminding the reader of the ‘beasts’ that lay between the covers.
